Warehouse

An important objective for the Agware Dock Console was to make daily operations simple to accomplish. We've designed tools to help eliminate mistakes in receiving and shipping of inventory. The Dock Console, more than any other area of your agribusiness, needs to be straightforward and easily understood by employees for whom English may be a second language. Most buttons are icons that illustrate their purpose, such as the forklift that represents receiving, and the truck that represents shipping functions.

Although designed to simplify dock activities, the Warehouse component is also highly functional and offers a variety of options. Counter Sales handles cash sales by lots, from the dock, with price control established from the sales office. In fact, inventory may be viewed from either the Sales Console or the Dock Console and you can pick more than one lot to complete an order from either Agware component. Inventory History provides every detail you might want to know about any product and all activity related to it.

Because your needs vary from order to order, Agware allows different ways to assign inventory. If you want inventory automatically assigned by first-in-first-out, by manually picked lots, or if you want to use both methods for an order, this is easily accomplished with a click of your mouse. Inventory is tracked back to grower accounting or purchase settlement based on how the product was received.

Advanced technology for warehouse management

Franwell has integrated radio frequency technology with our Agware warehouse management system for enhanced ability to automatically identify RPC and pallet content. With rfid> Genesis, the RFID tags you print and ship with your product enable you to meet the RFID compliance requirements of retailers and the DoD. Full integration of RFID capability further enhances the superior logistics capabilities of Agware.

Franwell now offers a variety of compliance solutions to meet the needs of low-volume, as well as high-volume suppliers. Our standard cart solutions are mobile for use at several different strategic points within your warehouse or distribution center.
