Scheduler
The Agware
Production Scheduler module is designed for the food processing industry.
The Scheduler simplifies production scheduling, inventory tracking and
equipment requirements, while minimizing paperwork. It helps perform
repetitive production scheduling, pre-assigns inventory for production,
tracks inventory moves of material to floor or line locations, and,
finally, deducts items used from inventory.
The Production
Scheduler creates a production order in which the line items identify
the items and estimated volumes being produced during a time period.
The Production Order triggers a picklist of items based on the ordered
product's bill of materials. Since a line item on the production order
reflects a production run, this allows you to manage any equipment changes
and also material substitutions. You can selectively pick (pre-deduct)
items when a picklist is printed for transfer to floor or line for subsequent
post-deduction from inventory. This provides tighter control, thus eliminating
using the same item twice.
Agware
Production Scheduler is fully integrated with Agware Processor.
When integrated, the Agware Production Scheduler can automatically
retrieve bill of material and inventory description, and quantities
on hand. The Agware Production Scheduler is included in the Agware
Processor system, but it can be used as a stand-alone module. Agware
Production Scheduler can also be integrated into other windows-based
systems.
