Franwell, Inc. has ongoing plans for development of new Agware products as well as enhancements to our current Agware system. We have seen Agware expand from a less complex produce software that met the needs of growers, packers, and shippers, to a more comprehensive system that includes many of the features needed by food brokers, food distributors, and food processors/manufacturers.
The latest addition to Agware is the integration with RFID technology, which Franwell accomplished in 2003. In 2004 Franwell presented a product specifically designed to benefit any company seeking RFID mandate compliance.
rfid >Genesis enables tag encoding with the correct information, and the ability to transmit that information via the EPC network to the EPCIS server.
Franwell, Inc. is a developer of systems and a systems integration provider for auto-identification that utilizes radio frequency. This is definitely an enhancement for a perishable foods software system that already offers excellent traceability and security of assets.
These additional software products, listed as links in the left column, are based on the current Agware edition and utilize some of the same components. However each product has distinct features for industry specific application. The products we list will be sold as stand-alone programs with ability to integrate with one another.
Changes to our products and plans are always expected as Franwell devotes considerable resources to research and development. At Franwell, we address future challenges before they actually occur. For example, food safety is currently a popular subject, but it has long been a concern of our clients and something that Franwell has historically taken into consideration.
