functions that are Internet related.)

By design,
Agware's three-tiered structure separates the user interface,

Accounting
Questions, Financial Transactions and other Back Office Functions
1.
How are billing cycles, or periods, established in Agware?
The user
defines his regular cycles. There are no preset periods. (Please read
our General Ledger
document, in the Agware
Back
Office Products section of our Web site, for more details.) You
can choose whether to lock transactions or not.
2.
Do you have hard closes for each month, or can you make billing/receiving
changes after a month ends?
Yes, you can
make modifications after an invoice has been processed. There is no
hard close for months or periods, but there is an annual hard close.
"Soft closes" are possible throughout the fiscal year, however,
at any given point(s) in time you can select a system-wide through date
for locked transactions. (Since reports may be printed at any time,
closes do not affect report functions.) Also, our software allows the
sales console to tell the back office when to invoice. As for rebilling,
this can be done at any time after delivery and before you close out
the year.
3.
Are your aging report ranges fixed or user-defined?
Our A/P and
A/R aging range is user-defined.
4.
How does Agware
handle the unknown factors of grower accounting?
Our Software allows for accurate and detailed accounting covering all
aspects of a charge to growers and for the product that is sold for

the time a cost is associated with a product. All grower accounting
will automatically follow invoice changes. (Please read our Grower
Accounting document in the Products section of our Web site
for more details.)

How does Agware

Agware
Logistics Questions
1.
Does Agware
software support multiple companies?
Yes. Our
software supports multiple companies as separate databases or as related
businesses on one database. How you choose to set up your companies
determines whether you need more than one database.
2.
Does Agware
support multiple locations with a single database?
Yes,
you can keep track of inventory at several different warehouses and
monitor all transactions from one office. And multiple company locations
are supported within the framework of a single database. Every transaction
is coded with a location that you set in the Card File which
can also be set for different ranches, fields, or whatever you want
to use.

General
Agware Questions
1.
Are all the reports in Agware
pre-formatted or can they be modified to user-defined specifications?
You are not
limited to Agware
formatted reports, you can export your data to Microsoft® Excel and
Access, as well as Word (if Word has a SQL Table link,
as the most recent versions do). In addition to this, analysis type
reports generate data from user-defined parameters.
2.
Is it possible for an associated grower to have access to part of your
Agware
system, yet not access the entire data base?
Yes. Actually,
you could plan for any individual or business entity to have access
to as little or much of your database as you desire; however, this would
affect your licensing depending upon how the grower (or any other associate)
accesses and uses your system. Specifically, you could isolate a grower's
data so that access to your entire database is not given. (Please read
about User Security
in the System Manager section of our Agware
product documents for more information.)
